from the persepective of a layman

I have been living and visiting many big cities in connection with my work. I have found many cities well planned with all the basic facilities of the life. There are high mansions with all basic amenities. Huge residential complex. Big shopping malls and exceeding parking space. So, this is the simples explanation of the modern living standards all around the world.

Absolutely, these facilities with all their dimensions are planned to accommodate a large number of people who are wandering around and moving around.

Yes planet earth is having too many inhabitants. Thanks to many developments which are making it possible to expect long span of life.

People are rushing towards big cities. They find themselves in the mid of opportunities. This thing is overburdening the big cities. South Asia is one of the most effected continent in terms of urbanisation. Urbanization in South Asia has become a common trend in recent years. The region has some most populous countries in the world, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

Urbanisation in these areas is driven by a combination of many factors which can be categorised as under;

1.rapid population growth

2. industrialisation

3. migration from rural to urban areas in search of better economic opportunities.
