Let Us Use Criticism to Our Advantage, and Let an Enemy Become a Friend
Criticism is considered one of the most lethal aspects of human behavior. Indeed, it causes many behavioral problems among people around us. But when we see it from another perspective, we come to know that criticism is a two-sided phenomenon; it can be destructive and constructive at the same time. To take any side depends upon the ability and circumstances of the individual.
Elvis Presley has said;
“Don’t criticize what you don’t understand, son. You never walked in that man’s shoes.”
Indeed, these lines are about not criticizing, but we have points to note here. Indeed, there is a very deep message that everybody has his or her own challenges, suffering, and circumstances. So, amid those circumstances, everybody acts according to his or her own ease.
I am not going to give a lecture on what to do. Or that we should not criticise others. Here I am openly on the side of people who are being criticized. I want to tell them loudly that let’s make this our power. Let’s stand against every aversion. Let’s claim and show that we are brave enough to bear every criticism and stand.
Two ways; the choice is yours
Yes, the choice is yours. You are the only one who can decide that;
- Either you are going to accept defeat while facing criticism or:
- You are going to rise
There is no other formula. We always read about people giving lots of advice about mental health, staying strong, or how to face criticism.
I am not going to advise you of any such thing. I am simply telling you a friendly tip. It is all about your own conviction, resolution, and courage.
Appreciate and welcome positive criticism
Abraham Lincoln had said;
“He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help.”
